At Birchall House, you enjoy a magnificent 200º view of Lake Wakatipu and surrounding mountains, and are within walking distance of Queenstown town centre. Our guest accommodation — with spectacular views — is spacious and private, with separate entrances, outside patio/lawn seating, smoke free, centrally heated and wireless modem. We have two bedrooms, both with ensuites — one queen double in one bedroom and two queen-sized single beds in the other bedroom. Electric blankets are on all beds. The double bedroom also provides a fridge, microwave, etc., while both rooms have tea/coffee facilities.

We are able to advise and make booking arrangements for area sightseeing and activities, including Milford and Doubtful Sounds, Shotover Jet, Dart River Jet, etc.

Before moving to Queenstown, we farmed sheep, cattle and deer in Western Southland, where we were also active members of the Western Southland Farm Hosting Group. Our interests include most sports — but golf in particular (there are several outstanding golf courses in the area) — together with gardening and handicrafts (embroidery, patchwork, etc.).
