Hulbert House, a Victorian Villa of 17 rooms, has provided Old World hospitality for over a century. Its historic importance is protected by Covenant, and it offers unique Bed and Breakfast accommodation to the quality standards of the Heritage Inns of New Zealand. Its setting in an English-style garden with magnificent views of lake and mountains creates a private and peaceful haven just four minutes walk from the town centre.

Four guest rooms with private bathrooms are warmly furnished with colonial antiques, and quality queen-size beds induce a quiet night's sleep. A comfortable Drawing room is for guest use, and wholesome breakfasts are served in the Dining room. Off-street parking and same-day laundry service are also available. Moreover, we take a special interest in helping our guests to better enjoy the good and simple things that this beautiful area has to offer.
