Coach Specifications:
- Luxury Volvo coaches (45 seater), with reclining seats and air-conditioning,
purpose built for the Milford Road
- Seven coaches feature glass roofs for spectacular viewing, and the latest
of these also have sloping floors and angled seating to enhance viewing comfort.
- Doors at the front and mid-way along the coach, enable more efficient passenger
loading.

You can fly both ways to join our Milford Sound Daytime
Cruises or
if you prefer, fly back to Queenstown after taking a luxury coach journey to
Milford. Fly back options available with all daytime and overnight cruises

Luxury glass-roofed coach transport from Queenstown to Milford Sound, a Milford Sound Scenic Cruise of the fiord on board modern vessels and a scenic helicopter flight back to Queenstown.
On boarding a luxury glass-roofed coach in Queenstown, travel along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and through the rolling countryside to Te Anau. The coach driver provides a commentary and interpretation material is available in
foreign languages. After a morning tea break in Te Anau, the coach continues along the spectacular Milford Road through impressive alpine scenery. There is time for photo stops and short walks along the way. On reaching Milford Sound, enjoy a full length cruise of the fiord in modern, purpose built vessels. The vessels offer excellent viewing of waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and wildlife with large windows, spacious decks and comfortable lounges. Commentaries are provided in several languages and interpretation handouts are available in eight languages. A range of lunch options (at extra cost) and complimentary tea and coffee is available on all vessels. Following the cruise there is a coach transfer to the Milford Airport to return to Queenstown by helicopter (weather
permitting). The helicopter flight is the ultimate way to view the spectacular alpine scenery including glaciers, rivers, lakes and rainforest. Follow the fiord up the Harrison Valley and over Mt Tutoko with a snow landing on the Donne Glacier (conditions permitting), then onto the Wakatipu Basin.
