Nature Cruises
Explore Milford Sound in a leisurely and casual way with our nature
guides.
Our vessels, the Milford Mariner and Milford
Wanderer designed along the lines of traditional trading scows
and have been purpose built to operate in the fiords. These
modern vessels offer a relaxing, extended cruise option.
For those on board wanting to learn about the magnificent scenery and wildlife,
our nature guide provides a detailed commentary (English only).Keep
a look out for dolphins, seals and penguins.

Guided visits to the Milford Discovery Centre (previously Milford Sound Underwater Observatory) are available as an “add-on” with most Milford Sound Nature Cruises. Due to the delayed return, this option may not be available to passengers travelling by Real Journeys coach or plane.
After an informative introductory talk, you will descend to the underwater viewing chamber to observe the fascinating corals, anemones, sponges, sea horses and fish species in their natural habitat.

*PLEASE NOTE: Underwater Observatory option is no longer available with the coach connections from Te Anau. However, it is still available ex Milford. Includes Government Taxes (GST). Coach (bus) transfers from Te Anau are available. From Queenstown, coach-cruise-fly and fly-cruise-fly packages are also available.

Kids Go free applies to children aged 0 - 18 years (school-aged).
Children (maximum of two) must be accompanied by a full fare-paying adult.
Meals, coach connections, flights, overnight cruises, underwater observatory and departures other than those listed are not included.
Real Journeys reserve the right to amend timetables, substitute plant or equipment and alter ticket prices at any time.

29-10 days - 50% of full payment
Inside 10 days - 100% of full payment.
