The company's operations are in the premier destinations of New Zealand and amongst the most amazing scenery in the world; in both the Alpine Resort of Queenstown with the stunning backdrops as seen in the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy, and the unique geothermal and lush surroundings of cultural Rotorua.

Experience the exhilaration of a Tandem Freefall!

Harnessed by space age materials to an experienced qualified jumpmaster, fly to jump altitude, step out the aircraft, freefall for some 60 seconds reaching terminal velocity 200km/hr. Your jumpmaster will deploy the reinforced tandem canopy controlling your entire skydive. No previous experience is required.

The personal challenge is immense. Immense, because the only thing preventing you from enjoying this, one of the most primal life shaping experiences, is your own mind. You must choose. To go through life able to say ’yes, I did it’, or to go through life knowing that you had the opportunity, but you turned it down and walked away from becoming the complete person you could have been.

The NZONE Experience

NZONE operates 7 days a week
Departures: Hourly (weather permitting)
Duration: Allow 3.5 hours to make your tandem skydive.
Transport: Courtesy transport provided from NZONE.
Clothing: All outer clothing and equipment supplied.
Additional: Passengers receive a personal achievement certificate upon completion of their skydive.

Conditions: You will be required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to making your skydive. The maximum weight for passengers is 100kgs (220lbs). There are no age limits – NZONE have taken passengers up to 89 years of age – however if you are under 16 written consent from parent or guardian is required.

Qualifications & Safety
The New Zealand Parachute Federation was established in 1955, the NZPF act as a governing body setting the rules and regulations for the sport, ensuring safety standards are upheld, overseeing skydiver qualifications, equipment maintenance and drop zone safety systems and procedures.

Equipment
The dual harness parachute system was developed over sixteen years ago in the USA. The system allows a totally inexperienced passenger to experience the thrill and excitement of freefall. The complete jump is under the control of the tandem instructor who is attached to the passenger in the dual harness. The equipment used by the company is manufactured in the USA by ‘Strong Enterprises’ a world renowned parachute manufacturer. The system contains two square parachutes - the main and the reserve, in addition to this each parachute system is fitted with an emergency computer activated opening device.

About NZONE
Established in 1990 the company was formed by two parachute enthusiasts, from a team of two the company now employ over 30 highly qualified staff and have taken over 70,000 passengers tandem skydiving.

NZONE operates Cresco and Fletcher turbine aircrafts. Drop zone facilities include hangar, customer service area, café and outside viewing areas.

NZONE have hosted a variety of team building and special need groups and have strong involvement in incentive reward programs, skydive displays and film making.

While, unquestionably, the memory of your ultimate jump will last a lifetime, such a significant chapeter in your life should not go unrecorded. Using the latest state of the art equipment NZONE recommend you commission them to shoot, edit, and compile a complete documentary of your NZONE experience.

The NZONE freefall photographer will jump with a camera / video mounted on their skydive helmet. Videos and photos are yours, to take away on the day, in a presentation box complete with certificate of accomplishment. You will have earned it!
