Stewart Island is a fantastic place to explore independently. An excellent range
of modern rental cars enables you to discover the stunning coastline and secluded
communities at your own pace and in your own time. Motor scooters are also available
for hire (a driver's licence is required for the hire of rental cars and motor scooters).
